Welcome Back

Welcome back, Chargers! We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning. At Hilltop High School, our mission is to accommodate students in a welcoming environment that provides high quality, relevant, and meaningful educational opportunities for all students. We strive to develop lifelong learners who respect diversity, are socially responsible, and capable global citizens.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the following new staff members; Ms. Bukola Adesina will be joining our Science/Math Department, Mr. Connor Greig will be teaching Photography and Science, Mr. David Hobson will be joining the Science Department, Mr. Robert Milton will be teaching Construction and Ms. Michelle Tran will be joining the Science Department.

The first day back for students is Thursday, September 1 (Grade 9 only) and Friday, September 2nd (All Grades).

Upon arrival, students will proceed to their homeroom (lists will be posted in hallways) where they will receive a hard copy of their timetables. Students will also reset their PowerSchool passwords at this time, allowing them access to their schedules digitally.

We would like to welcome our families to a Meet the Staff barbecue on September 1 from 5-7 PM. Please drop by for a burger and meet your child’s teachers.

Remember to return any library books or ChromeBooks that you may still have from last year.

Hilltop High School is implementing a new cell phone policy for the 2022-2023 school year. Cell phones will not be permitted to be used during class time. More information on the policy will be shared with parents/guardians before the beginning of the school year.
