Class of 2019 Gives Back

Recently the Hilltop High School grad class held their annual Senior Supper. We are incredibly grateful to the Whitecourt Senior Circle community for their generous donation of over $1000.00 to the Class of 2019. As per tradition, the grad class is paying it forward and donating the money back to a worthy cause. The grad class council has voted to split the donations between 2 causes this year. $550.00 will be donated to the R&R Memorial Foundation and $550.00 will be donated to the Hilltop Humanitarian Society. The R&R Foundation was established in memory of Ryder and Radek. The foundation offers the opportunity for underprivileged children in Whitecourt  to play minor hockey. The Hilltop Humanitarian Society has supported women and children in orphanages in Uganda for a number of years, helping them receive much needed education and medical care. 

*R&R Memorial Foundation is planning to raise $10,000.00 this year on Fund-raising campaigns. It will cost our organization an estimate of $500.00 to raise this. The money raised will be going to help under privileged children in Whitecourt to play minor hockey. For more information, please contact Nathalie at 780-286-9119.
