The Whitecourt Cats are the 2023 Athabasca Bowl Champions! The Cats defeated the Fort McMurray Saints, a Tier 1 team, to win 29-24 to win their second Might Peace Football League championship in a row.
Congratulations to the Whitecourt Cats' Alex Hiemstra on winning huge honours at the Mighty Peace Football League annual banquet. Alex was awarded the Best Running Back in the MPFL as well as League Most Valuable Player (MVP). Congratulations Alex!
The Cats next play in the Provincial Quarter Finals on Saturday, November 11 against the Holy Rosary Raiders in Lloydminster. Game time is at 1 pm. Good luck Cats!
